ROBERT'S RULES OF ORDER

Originally published in 1876, Robert’s Rules of Order was originally written by US Army Brigadier General Henry Robert. He wanted to standardize the way meetings are run so people can focus on the substance of their work rather than on the procedure. When understood, these rules allow each member to understand when things should happen and how to get things done.
